The living room is cosy and quaint with an open fire, dining table and 3 chairs and window seating for 2 people. There is comfortable seating for 4 people, and a television, DVD player and music system.  We have provided a small selection of children’s DVDs.  A guest cupboard contains a clothes horse, iron, ironing board, spare bulbs, torch, extendable fireguard, and hoover. In the entrance way there is a wooden shoe rack and space for coats. We also provide a high chair.

The kitchen is handmade with Belfast sink, kettle, toaster, combined washer/drying machine, fridge with separate freezer section, oven with grill and hob. We provide tea towels, oven glove, washing up liquid, and cloth.

The main double bedroom on the first floor has an original cast fireplace which, although not now in use, forms a focal point of attention.  This room is calming and restful.  The bathroom is also on this floor. It has a bath with shower over, sink and toilet. We provide bath towels and guest soaps.

There is a bookcase on the landing with a good selection of books for adults and children.

On the second floor there is a landing area with a travel cot and a hanging wardrobe. It leads onto the twin bedroom with wooden beams. This room is cosy, quaint and secretive.

To the front of Beare Cottage is a small south facing decked area which looks down onto New Road. There is a table and outdoor seating for enjoying evening meals or a late night aperitif whilst you enjoy the company of the abundant summer migrant swallows and pipistrelle bats. Fishing nets and spades and buckets are located here.

Please note the cottage is NON-SMOKING and sorry, we do not accept pets.
