Beare Cottage is a delightful property dating back to the 18th Century and was once a fisherman’s cottage and is now a beautiful three storey property offering splendid self catering accommodation for up to four guests in the picturesque village of Robin Hood’s Bay, located only a two minute walk from the lovely long sandy beach.

The cottage consists of a large double bedroom located on the first floor which boasts a splendid original cast iron fireplace, which is no longer in use but makes a beautiful focal point. There is a twin bedroom on the second floor which features spectacular original wooden beams. The house bathroom is spacious and has both bath and shower facilities, fluffy towels are provided as well as a selection of complimentary toiletries. There is a fully fitted kitchen with a washing machine, microwave, oven and fridge. The living room has seating for up to four guests and comes complete with a multifuel stove, freeview TV, stereo and DVD player and dining area.

To the front of the cottage there is a small decked area with a table and chairs perfect for relaxing and al fresco dining on warmer evenings.

Beare Cottage is the ideal place to stay for exploring the beautiful coastline situated in the beautiful fishing village of Robin Hood’s Bay, which is steeped in maritime history and rife with stories of brave sea rescues and smuggling. Slightly further down the coast is the fishing port of Whitby with it’s narrow streets and array of specialist shops and museums just waiting to be discovered. Only 15 miles away is the spectacular seaside town of Scarborough with it’s lovely beaches and plenty to keep the family entertained from amusements, to Peasholm Park, shops and eateries.
